Why is it better to use a Microfiber cloth than household rags?
Microfiber material leaves not lint or dust behind, unlike ordinary household rags. The material is expensive, but lasts longer than cotton or polyester based rags. Microfiber rags are used to clean high end automobiles because they soak oils and dirt better than normal household rags. When washing, we are certain not to use fabric softener or oil based detergents as that would clog up the fabric and compromise their efficiency. We use Microfiber for all parts of cleaning, all surfaces. Because there are so many thin fibers in the material, it soaks up dirt and debris much more effectively than ordinary household mops.
